JASON TEAL

Jason has been working in social research across central and local government, and in the charitable sector since 1999. He has experience with quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods and the use of dedicated software.

He has been involved in many aspects of business intelligence: designing and leading on research and consultation projects, developing and undertaking impact assessments and evaluations, and generating and implementing strategic and operational performance frameworks.

Jason’s particular interest is in breaking down the mystique of data for practitioners, enabling those less experienced with analytic techniques to get the most out of their data and ensure their results have impact. He has developed and delivered bespoke training in applied research design, data analysis and the effective communication of research findings to diverse practitioner audiences.

It is important to Jason that data are understood and analysis is both useful and used - that audiences feel confident to look behind the headlines, understand the broader picture that is being painted, and how that data can be used in the planning and decision-making process.

For QDAS Jason undertakes coding and analysis and leads on business management. He is based in the UK.
